With so many markup stories over the past few years, it’s good to see that consumers may finally be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as some automakers are reluctant to bring discounts to market. In an effort to attract more customers to their showrooms, Dodge comes up with a tempting offer: a discount of $10 per horsepower that their new car produces.
The carmaker first launched its own Avoid Power Dollars store in 2019 and offered it across its entire lineup, including Hellcat V8-powered models, providing discounts of up to $7,970. Unfortunately, this time the Hellcat models are now excluded from the deal. However, there are still savings to be made on some of the brand’s more affordable and less powerful cars.
Direct Cars notes that eligible 2023 Charger models include the SXT, GT and R/T RWD, which come with savings ranging from $2,920 to $3,700. In addition, Dodge offers the Charger GT with 0% APR financing for 72 months. However, it should be noted that this financing offer cannot be combined with the Dodge Power Dollars campaign.
Some competing offers are also available in the 2023 Challenger SXT, GT, and R/T with discounts ranging from $3,030 to $3,750. The Challenger SXT is also available with 0% APR for 72 months for those who don’t want to pay upfront for a muscle car.
Dodge is also offering a campaign on the 2023 Durango SXT, GT, R/T, and Citadel models with savings ranging from $2,930 to $3,600. In select U.S. regions, the SUV is also offered with up to $4,250 in customer cash, meaning it can be purchased with up to $7,850 in rebates.
The deal runs through February 29 and could prove to be one of Dodge’s last deals for the 2023 Charger and the Challenger, which looks set to clear the inventory of two models that were phased out late last year.
