Countless of them have been seen this year concepts came out and many of them made an impression on the automotive world, as our readers pointed out in last weekend’s Poll. However, on the other hand, several concepts were incredibly disappointing or downright bad. So we want to know which one you think is the worst and/or the most boring. That’s our question of the day.
Here again, it is important to define exactly what we mean. For example, as terrible concept cars go, The Aitekx Robotruck probably takes the cake. It’s clear from the photos that it was somewhat rushed at the LA Auto Show and that it could use a lot more polishing. At the same time, it might be wrong to call that boring. Sure, it’s similar to Cybertruck which makes Tesla seem a hundred years more mature and prepared, but at least it’s interesting.
At the opposite end of the spectrum is a concept like the Lamborghini Lanzador it will undoubtedly be fast and well-built, but it drops the ball in the excitement department for an Italian supercar. However, he is not alone in the realm of boredom. Take the Nissan Pathfinder on the Chinese market, for example; that doesn’t exactly set anyone’s hair on fire.

I’d say the worst and most boring concept is the one you probably haven’t thought about in a while. Back in October, Toyota showed off the FT-3e, which isn’t the ugliest here, but it’s probably one of the most boring of the bunch.
Do we really need another electric crossover? Well, in the case of Toyota, the answer is probably yes. While the FT-3e was far behind other competitors on the EV front, it didn’t show up with any mind-blowing technology or promises of future sales dominance.
These are just a few options for the most boring and terrible concept of 2023. Which one gets your vote? Is there another one that deserves public attention? Tell us in the comments below!
